1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and LaundryPad (“LaundryPad,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By using our website, mobile app, scheduling an order, creating an account, or using our services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our services.
2. Services
LaundryPad provides laundry pickup, delivery, wash and fold, and related laundry services. Available services, prices, turnaround times, delivery windows, and service areas may vary by location and availability.
3. Account Registration
You may need to create an account to use certain services. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
4. Orders, Pickup, and Delivery
- You are responsible for providing accurate pickup and delivery information.
- You must make laundry available during the scheduled pickup window.
- Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by traffic, weather, staffing, order volume, or other operational issues.
- If you miss a pickup or delivery, additional fees may apply.
- We may refuse or cancel orders that cannot be safely or reasonably completed.
5. Laundry Preparation
You are responsible for removing all personal items from pockets and laundry bags before pickup. LaundryPad is not responsible for damage caused by items left in clothing, including pens, cosmetics, keys, electronics, sharp objects, gum, food, or other items.
Do not include hazardous materials, biohazards, heavily contaminated items, bedbug-infested items, items exposed to bodily fluids, or items that cannot be safely processed.
6. Garment Care and Customer Preferences
We use reasonable care when processing laundry. However, garments and textiles may experience normal wear, shrinkage, fading, color bleeding, loose buttons, broken zippers, weakened fabric, or damage due to age, manufacturer defects, prior wear, care label inaccuracies, or customer-provided instructions.
Customers are responsible for identifying special care items. Unless otherwise agreed, our wash and fold service is intended for everyday washable laundry, not dry-clean-only garments, delicate items, heirlooms, luxury goods, leather, suede, fur, formalwear, or specialty items.
7. Lost or Damaged Items
If you believe an item was lost or damaged, you must notify us within 7 days of delivery. We may request photos, receipts, item details, and an opportunity to inspect the item.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, LaundryPad’s liability for lost or damaged laundry is limited to the lesser of: (a) the documented fair market value of the item, or (c) $100 per order. LaundryPad is not responsible for sentimental value, special value, or indirect losses.
8. Pricing and Payment
Prices may be based on bag size, weight, item type, subscription plan, delivery distance, service level, or other factors. Prices are subject to change. You agree to pay all charges, taxes, delivery fees, service fees, missed pickup fees, cancellation fees, and other applicable amounts associated with your order.
By placing an order, you authorize LaundryPad or our payment processor to charge your selected payment method.
9. Subscriptions and Recurring Billing
If LaundryPad offers subscriptions or recurring plans, you authorize recurring charges according to the plan terms shown at checkout. You may cancel according to the cancellation process provided in your account or by contacting us at info@laundrypad.co. Cancellation timing may affect whether charges already in process can be stopped.
10. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation and refund eligibility may depend on order status. Orders may not be cancelable after pickup or once processing has started. Refunds, credits, or re-cleaning are provided at LaundryPad’s discretion unless required by law.
11. Promotions and Discounts
Promotions, credits, referral rewards, and discounts may be subject to additional terms, expiration dates, limitations, and eligibility requirements. We may modify or cancel promotions at any time.
12. Customer Conduct
You agree not to misuse our services, harass staff or drivers, provide false information, interfere with operations, attempt fraud, or use our services for unlawful purposes. We may refuse service, cancel orders, or suspend accounts for conduct that violates these Terms or creates safety, legal, or operational concerns.
13. Communications
By using our services, you agree that we may contact you by email, phone, text message, push notification, or other means regarding your account, orders, delivery updates, payments, support, and service notices. Promotional communications may be subject to your consent and opt-out rights.
14. Website and App Use
You may not copy, modify, disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse our website, app, systems, content, or services. All LaundryPad names, logos, designs, text, graphics, and other materials are owned by LaundryPad or its licensors.
15. Third-Party Services
Our services may rely on third-party providers such as payment processors, hosting providers, analytics tools, messaging providers, mapping/routing tools, and delivery support tools. We are not responsible for third-party services, websites, or policies.
16. Disclaimers
Our services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, exact pickup or delivery times, or that every stain, odor, or garment issue can be resolved.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, LaundryPad will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or lost profit damages. Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the order giving rise to the claim, except where prohibited by law.
18. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LaundryPad from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of the services, violation of these Terms, violation of law, or infringement of third-party rights.
19. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless another jurisdiction’s laws are required to apply.
